Fermanagh man jailed for badger and animal cruelty offences.

Jason Lee Kennedy, 35, from Marble Arch Road in Florencecourt pleaded guilty to three charges of causing unnecessary suffering to animals and two of causing or attempting to cause an animal fight. Click for news item

Have you ever seen a badger abseil?

A massive Thank You to our badger, aka Johanne, who took part in the Twilight Abseil at Belfast Castle. It was a miserable evening, but the mist and rain wouldn't stop a badger on a mission, and it didn't stop Johanne.

The sponsorship money raised by Johanne will support our Brockwatch project. We are extremely grateful to Johanne and to all our supporters who help us continue to protect these iconic animals.


Decision to allow a cull of badgers in Northern Ireland by shooting ruled unlawful in the High Court

The Northern Ireland Badger Group and Wild Justice mounted a successful legal challenged to the proposed badger cull in Northern Ireland. As a result, the decision to allow farmer-led groups to shoot free-roaming badgers with rifles was declared unlawful and the policy has been quashed.
